At present there is no automated way to export files or messages from a
group. We do plan to add this capability, but I can't confirm a
time-frame for that.

To help us design this, it would be useful to know more about the
requirements. Why do they want a local copy of the content, rather than
simply relying on the online group site as an archive (with the new
pricing, there would be no cost for this)? Do they need the messages as
well as the files? If so, why?
