Registration

Web subscription option with confirmation by email ensures that all participants have explitly agree to the terms of use before joining sites or groups.

A confirmation of registration including the username and a freshly generated password is automatically sent when people join a site.

The "remember me" feature keeps the user logged in until they explicitly log out. This is particularly useful for transparent navigation using links in message footers, for example to the full text of a topic.
Password Reset feature enables users to obtain their login name and a freshly generated password by entering one of the email addresses that they have specified on the site.

Change Password enables participants to change their own password once they are logged into a site.
The profile shows a list of groups that the user belongs to.
The profile shows a list of posts recently made by the owner of the profile that are visible to the person browsing the profile.
Participant photo. Each participant can upload their own photo.
Biography. Participants can modify their bio.
Hide Email Addresses. Each participant can determine whether their email address is visible to other logged-in participants (non-logged in participants can never see email addresses unless they are in the text of a post).
Request Contact. If a participant has their email address hidden, other logged-in participants can request contact using a feature which sends an email to the requestee with the email address of the requester and a message to say they request contact.
