Hi there,
I changed the topic for this, as password reset may attract further
posts. In "Support for OnlineGroups Site Users",
http://onlinegroups.net/r/post/6SsvrHbJWuxNRBP7fnp9HT
you asked...

If you did not have cookies enabled, you would not be able to log in at
all. If you click a password reset link that has already been used, you
get a "User Not Found" message. I'm sorry but I can't reproduce or
diagnose the problem just now, but I will do some further investigation.
From your description, you are able to set your password sometimes. Are
you able to determine the conditions under which it works or generates a
login page?
Hi there!
You should not need to set a password more than once. What I suspect
*may* have happened is that you tried to access a page that you are not
allowed access to. Sometimes I set the security settings too high on an
area, and you cannot access something you should. If you suspect this is
the case, contact me off-list, and I can see what I can do.
I suspect that permissions is the problem because of the odd behaviour
of the Unauthorised page. Irritatingly, the Unauthorised page displays a
login screen, even when you are logged in. For example, most people will
see a login screen when going to the following address, as most people
are not administrators in the OnlineGroups.Net Administrators group
http://onlinegroups.net/groups/ogn_admins/admin_join.html
If you try and log in, you see the login page again — leading to the
reasonable conclusion that your password is wrong. What is wrong is the
page: you should see a page explaining the problem, rather than a login
form. Sorry about the bug. I will see what I can do.
Kind regards,
Michael
